Ex-interventionist, ex-drug war enthusiast, ex-PATRIOT Act apologist Bob Barr received the Libertarian Party nomination, thus killing any principle left in the party. The disaster nomination could have been alleviated by nominating a running mate supported by the radical caucus such as Mary Ruwart or Steve Kubby, but instead the delegates chose ex-Republican Hawk and hyperactive LINO Wayne Allyn Root.
The Libertarian Party appears more concerned about celebrity status than the principles of liberty. I hope the Ron Paul Revolution does not pass the torch to the LP ticket.
